A. ask for / belong to / happen to
무언가를 요청할 때는 ask for, 소속/소유를 말할 때는 belong to, 발생 대상을 말할 때는 happen to.
A man stopped me and asked me for money.
한 남자가 나를 멈춰 세우고 돈을 요구했습니다.
Does this coat belong to you? (= Is it yours?)

B. thank somebody for / speak to somebody about
~에 대해 남에게 감사하다(thank somebody for), ~에 대해 누군가와 이야기하다(speak/talk to somebody about).

C. think about vs think of
숙고하거나 검토 중일 때는 think about, 의견이나 기억을 떠올릴 때는 think of를 씁니다.
I'm thinking about buying a new car.

What do you think of my new dress? - It's very nice.
